Security Requirements
Prerequisites
- Access Level: Sub-admin, Admin.
- Permission Requirements:
- . Basic Project Interaction
- View projects they are a member of
- View other members in projects they are a member of
- View all security requirements in the system
- View own security requirement certifications
- . Project Management
- Edit metadata for projects they manage
- Add users to projects they manage
- Edit memberships in projects they manage
- Remove users from projects they manage
- View all security requirement certifications in the system
- Certify users for security requirements
- Edit user certifications for security requirements
- Delete user certifications for security requirements
- . Project Administration
- View all projects in the system
- Arbitrarily tag resources with any project
- Create security requirements
- Edit security requirements
- Delete security requirements
- Arbitrarily edit any project
- View memberships for every project in the system
- Arbitrarily add users to any project
- Arbitrarily edit any project membership
- Arbitrarily remove users from any project
Access Security Requirements
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Security Requirements in the left panel.
View Project Security Requirements
Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Security Requirements in the left panel.
- Select the security requirement you want to view.
- Click the View button in the top right panel.
- In the left panel, view the security requirement name, description, creation and last modified dates, expiration, lifespan, used security levels, and active and expired certifications.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Projects in the left panel.
- Under the column Name, enter the project whose security requirements you want to view.
- Select the project.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, under Properties section, click the Security Requirements card in the left panel.
- View the security requirements names, created and last-modified dates, type, security levels and certifications.
- Once done, click Close in the top left panel.
Create a New Security Requirement
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Security Requirements in the left panel.
- Click the Create new security requirement button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the name, expiration requirement, lifespan, and an optional description.
- Click Create.
Certify User(s) for a Security Requirement

Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Security Requirements in the left panel.
- Select the security requirement for which you want to certify user(s).
- Click the Certify user(s) button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the user name(s) to certify, expiration date and whether to skip or update their certification.
- Click Certify.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Projects in the left panel.
- Under the column Name, enter the project whom user(s) your want to certify with security requirements.
- Select the project.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, under Properties section, click the Security Requirements card in the left panel.
- Select the security requirement for which you want to certify user(s).
- Click the Certify user(s) button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the user name(s) to certify, expiration date and whether to skip or update their certification.
- Once done, click Certify.
View Active Certifications for a Security Requirement
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the User Certifications in the left panel.
- Search for the requirement name under the Requirement column.
- View active certifications that display future dates under the Expires column.
View Expired Certifications for a Security Requirement
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the User Certifications in the left panel.
- Search for the requirement name under the Requirement column.
- View expired certifications that display past dates under the Expires column.

Expired dates are marked in red.
Edit a Security Requirement
Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Security Requirements in the left panel.
- Select the security requirement you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, edit the name, expiration requirement, lifespan and the optional description.
- Click Update.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Projects in the left panel.
- Under the column Name, enter the project with the coresponding security requirements.
- Select the project.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, under Properties section, click the Security Requirements card in the left panel.
- Select the security requirement you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, edit the name, expiration requirement, lifespan and the optional description.
- Click Update.
Delete Security Requirement(s)

Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Security Requirements in the left panel.
- Select the security requirement(s) you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, click Delete.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Projects in the left panel.
- Under the column Name, enter the project with the coresponding security requirement(s).
- Select the project.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the new window, under Properties section, click the Security Requirements card in the left panel.
- Select the security requirement(s) you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, click Delete.
caution
You cannot delete a security requirement if it is associated with a security level or has certified users.
